Heather Price

Heather has been teaching Ballet, and various other dance styles, since 2002.  She has been a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance since 2007, and became an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance that same year.  Heather has taught students of all levels, Pre-Primary to Solo Seal, and often serves as a Mentor for the RAD’s Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies program, where she assists young teachers in gaining their teaching certification with the RAD. She’s had the pleasure of coaching students for the prestigious RAD Margot Fonteyn Awards (previously the Genee Awards), and has watched former students embark on professional dance careers.

Heather has continued her professional development by becoming certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, as well as attending the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s annual Teacher’s Workshop.

She is also a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC, where she studied to become a licensed pharmacist, and was then an associate faculty member at UBC with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2011 to 2017.

Heather has been a member of the Panorama family since 1994, and is excited to continue to share her passion for ballet with the students at Panorama School of Dance!
