Lyrical Jazz

Lyrical Jazz is an extension of ballet using more contemporary music. The student will be able to extend creativity, fluidity and flexibility. The teachers teach the fundamentals of solid dance technique and then stretch your boundaries by exploring powerful movements. Music for lyrical jazz is normally ballad-oriented music that is slow, full, and rhythmic.

Lyrical Jazz Competition

Lyrical Jazz Competition provides a class for those students interested in preparing group numbers for Festival Competitions. The 1/2 hour class is solely competition choreography and is taken in addition to the student's regular lyrical jazz class. It is recommended that those students interested in competing also enroll in a technical class such as ballet.
