Class Cancellation Policy

Extreme Weather

At times over the course of the winter months, we may have to cancel classes due to extreme weather conditions . ie: snow storms, freezing rain, and black ice. Since most of our weekday classes begin at 3:30, and due to our teachers traveling to work from all over the lower mainland (UBC, PoCo, New Westminster and Burnaby) we have a policy of making a decision on the cancellation of classes by 2:00pm weekdays, 8:30am Saturdays. We understand that the weather conditions vary greatly from 1 area to the other and may not last for the entire evening so the utmost thought goes into this decision. The safe travel of our staff and students is of highest concern.

Once classes have been cancelled we will put this message on the voice mail at the studios.

Please note that if 1 class is cancelled due to the weather, the class will not be made up. If a second class has to be canceled we will make up this class.
