Dress Code

If there are any questions please discuss dress code with your child’s dance instructor at the commencement of classes. All children are expected to conform to the dress code by the first week of October.

All shoes and clothing will be available through our "Dance Closet" dance supply store located at both the Ridge and Fleetwood locations.† All items are professionally made. We will have a full range of sizes at reasonable prices. Sizes not in stock can be obtained within two weeks of order date.

HAIR

Hair must be tied up off neck and face.

Ballet&Contemporary

Students must have hair in a bun. Preschoolers may wear hair in ponytails or pigtails.
Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop students must wear hair up in pony tail.

Leap n' Learn - Ages 3 and 4 years

Girls : Pink leotard, plain white ankle socks, pre-school skirt (to be purchased through the school), pink ballet slippers with elastics. Ballet pink tights may be worn during winter months.
Boys : Black t-shirt, black exercise pants or shorts, black ballet slippers

Pre-Ballet, Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet

Pink leotard, plain white ankle socks (no lace) regulation primary skirt (to be purchased through the school), pink full sole ballet slippers with elastics. Ballet pink tights may be worn during the winter months.

Grade One Ballet

Lilac sleeveless leotard, ballet pink tights, pink full sole ballet slippers with elastics. Character skirts (to be purchased through the school).

Grade Two Ballet

Burgundy lycra sleeveless leotard, ballet pink tights, pink full sole ballet slippers with elastics. Character skirts (to be purchased through the school).

Grade Three Ballet

Burgundy Velvet sleeveless leotard, ballet pink tights, pink full sole ballet slippers with elastics. Character skirts (to be purchased through the school)

Grade Four Ballet

Red Velvet sleeveless leotard, ballet pink tights, pink full sole ballet slippers with elastics. Pointe shoes may be required. Character skirts (to be purchased through the school).

Grade Five - Grade 8 ballet

Navy or black coloured sleeveless leotard, ballet pink tights, pink full sole ballet slippers with elastics. Pointe shoes may be required. Character skirts (to be purchased through the school)

Ballet - Vocational Levels

Intermediate Foundation

Navy or Black leotard, ballet pink tights, pink full-soled leather ballet slippers with ribbons and pointe shoes required.

Intermediate/Advanced

Navy or Black leotard, ballet pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Broken down pointe shoes with ribbons and pointe shoes required.

Jazz/Lyrical Jazz

Junior Levels

Fusica leotard, black jazz pants or capris, black jazz shoes for Jazz and beige for Lyrical Jazz.

Intermediate Levels

Purple leotard, black jazz pants or capris, black jazz shoes for Jazz and beige or foot undeeze for Lyrical Jazz.

Senior Levels

Any solid colored form-fitted top with black jazz pants or capris, black bootie jazz shoes & foot undiesor beige jazz shoes for Lyrical Jazz.

Hip-Hop

All levels

Fitted t-shirt, sweatpants or exercise pants, clean white runners for studio use only.

Tap

Junior Levels

Fusica leotard, black jazz pants or capris, black patent tap shoes.

Intermediate Levels

Purple leotard, black jazz pants or capris, black oxford tap shoes.

Senior Levels

Any solid colored form-fitted top with black jazz pants or capris, black oxford tap shoes.
